A family physician provides continuing and comprehensive health care for both individuals
and the whole family. They treat patients of all ages in all aspects of general
medicine.
Family physicians focus on health maintenance and prevention as well as
health care. Since they work with and treat the entire family, family physicians can
develop a unique relationship with their patients. In addition, they can readily at
